Disguise Services Powers Full Sail University Hall of Fame Ceremony
Audio-reactive content takes Hall of Fame Ceremony up a ‘Notch’ - creating real-time experiences for attendees.

To celebrate the achievements of their most accomplished graduates during their annual Hall of Fame ceremony, Full Sail University aimed to showcase their brand in a dynamic way, highlighting the innovative spirit and creativity that defines their alumni. Our services team was able to help them achieve this goal by generating audio-reactive content created in real-time graphics tool Notch.
Offering degree programs in art and design, film and television, music, games, technology, and more, Full Sail University fosters an environment for their students to go on and be a part of award-winning productions. Every year, they honor six new graduates as a tribute to their creative inspiration, technical brilliance, and determination, during their annual Hall of Fame event, which is the highlight of a week-long celebration.
For the event, Full Sail University had a vision of creating real-time, audio-reactive animation loops that would be defined by geometric shapes, particles, and event-specific imagery.
Our services team created eight vibrant loop-able designs, one that was audio reactive and seven to represent the nominees, in Notch that were projection mapped onto different surfaces: large fabricated letters spelling HOF (Hall of Fame), the stage backdrop as well as 2 screens on each side of the stage. During the ceremony, we had the ability to transition live, with 3D camera moves, between these graphics. Weekly content reviews with the Full Sail Team ensured we were creating the visual experience they envisioned.
On site, our technical team used a Disguise GX3 server to optimise playback of the content and used Disguise Designer to pre-visualise the content across the different textures. Integrating the content with the MA lighting console allowed the content to work in tandem with lighting animations created and operated by Full Sail’s team.
In the end, we were able to create an immersive, branded visual experience for the attendees of the Full Sail University’s Hall of Fame Ceremony, reflecting the dedication and creativity of their Hall of Fame inductees.
